Did you know that the longleaf pine ecosystem once stretched from Texas to Virginia? Would you like to learn more about this diverse ecosystem and how you can help bring it back to its former glory? Join us for this 2 hour workshop where we will dive into the fascinating flora and fauna of this habitat that once dominated the southeast! Walk away with your own longleaf pine sapling to plant in your yard to begin the process of recovery of one of the most critically endangered species in the United States. Make sure to bring a light jacket and wear closed toe shoes as we will be taking a walk through the Callaway Gardens Backyard Wildlife Habitat!
