Fanciful Fruit Basket Weaving

Description

One of everyone's favorite basket, Fanciful Fruit is woven on a handle/base combination!  This round basket is 14" in diameter and is great for chairside projects, as a table centerpiece or keeping fruit handy on your counter.  This technique uses short sokes inserted into a  groove in the base and would be appropriate for beginner and intermediate basket weavers.  Basketry materials and prepared handle/base combinations will be provided.  This a great opportunity to master another basketry technique!  All materials, supplies, sanded/stained handle/base combos will be provided.  Attendees should bring an old bath towel and snacks/lunch.
